hey anybody need a tattooartist any tattoo shops i ment to say .clean skilled and looking to travel!
:icontommytwothumbs:
i started my career 20 years ago in New Orleans under the watchful eyes of Doc Don Lucas, Peg-Leg George and Franklin Paul Rodgers. Most of my hands-on training was with Doc Don, the author of the Franklin Paul Rodger’s autobiography. For the past 20 years, i have circumnavigated the globe tattooing from country to country, state to state, leaning from some of the greats along the way. i have worked with artists such as Sailor Moses, Susan Fauser, Col. Todd, Don Ed Hardy and Bob Shaw.
I believe, as do many other professionals in the field that who you apprentice with and from who you have learned from, tells the story of who you are and what you know. Far to often we hear tattooists speaking only of themselves, giving no credit to their mentors for taking the time to get them where they are today. As for me, if you don’t know your history, then how can you know who you are? The thing is, today, a lot of people out there have no history, they have learned by trial and many errors. Can you imagine if the medical profession was just as reckless? (I learned brain surgery in my basement) I don’t think you would want to go to such a doctor. Yet there are people who don’t think twice about turning someone loose on their skin with no skill or knowledge of the profession. “Well, the price was right” they exclaim! Yes, but what is it and what disease did they give you while they were doing it?

For myself, maintaining a sterile field and believing that each one of my customer’s skins is more precious than gold, which means that I can only afford to do the highest quality work with each and every tattoo. Pride in my work means settling for nothing but the best on your most precious asset, YOU! That is what living in eight different countries and 36 states have taught me; be the best that I can be and settle for nothing less. Being taught by others who are recognized in their field as being the best
i have recently returned to Tattoo Mania in Staten Island New York after spending time in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. we also also gust returned from Singapore spending time for the Chinese New Year. i was there for the Year of the Monkey, which is my Chinese Zodiac sign.
advanced study of Jook Lum, Hung Gar and White Eye Brow boxing styles have only helped to make me a more focused artist. my intense love of Southeast Asia, China and Japan reflects in my work. i have lived in Thailand, China, England, France, Mexico, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Belize and Honduras, not to mention the dozens of countries we passed through to get to these locations. This list does not even include the many states he has lived in across America.
